Easy Like Sunday Morning

Greetings, readers! Today, Connor, my mother, and I ventured roughly thirty four miles total to visit the beautiful town of Charlevoix, Michigan. We rode at a relatively leisurely pace averaging about ten to twelve miles per hour which took two hours each way given a few photo, bathroom, and water stops. We were greeted by art festivities, delicious sandwiches from Scovie's Gourmet , and some of the best ice cream at our favorite Dairy Grille. Such a fun day! To add to our weekend bicycle excitement, our first ever Ortlieb bag arrived! The Ortlieb Ultimate 5 Classic Large Handlebar Bag worked beautifully for our Charlevoix adventure and we are looking forward to using it throughout our travels. The handlebar bag offers plenty of space for purse-like goodies as well as two Nalgenes, two sweaters, and other miscellaneous items. A few fun features that will be useful include a key entry to lock the bag to the bike, a strap which offers helpful portability, a zippered pocket inside for easy to reach valuables, and last but not least, the fact that this bag is entirely waterproof! So exciting! Tune in for a UPS delivery carrying twenty one pounds of bicycle love! Hoping this post finds you well!
